Terms & Conditions

Candelabra customer care aims to make online shopping easier and worry free while still maintaining the lowest cost model to give you the best prices. Please contact us first by email at enquiries@candelabra.com.au and we promise to answer you, in detail, as soon as possible. We take all queries seriously and sometimes we need to contact suppliers for additional information which can delay our response. Alternatively, call us on 02 4998 7099 and leave a message. A staff member will be in contact with you as soon as possible.

Shopping online with Candelabra is as safe, if not safer, than shopping at an actual store.  This site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the latest industry standard encryption, to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your credit card information under our control.  In the same way department stores use EFTPOS terminals to process credit card transactions, Everten Online uses St George Bank's and EWAY secure payment systems to process credit card payments via the EFTPOS system.

Once Candelabra has processed a transaction against a credit card number, we do not store your number, even against your order.  That's why, when processing refunds; we need to contact you by phone in order to obtain your card details again.

In order to fulfill and order you may place via our website, it is necessary for us to collect certain information from you.  The type of customer information we ask for includes name and address for billing and delivery purposes, day phone number, email address and product preferences.

Candelabra takes our customers' privacy seriously and has taken the appropriate measures to  ensure with confidence that any information given to us by our customers is protected.  We recognise the sensitivity of your personal information and will never share your details with any other organisation.

Estimated delivery times within Australia are approximately 3 to 10 working days for standard rate of delivery.

Your parcel will be delivered by either Australia's parcel post service or a Courier during normal business hours.  Upon delivery, the goods must be signed for. If there is no one at the location at the time of delivery, a delivery notification will be left and either the parcel can be collected from your nearest post office or the courier can be called to arrange a suitable deliver time.

Under no circumstances does Candelabra ever warrant that it will meet a particular delivery date or time.


Candelabra will endeavour to gift wrap any order that is paid for. We reserve the right to refuse to wrap any item that is considered too large such as  large candelabras and some unwieldy commercial items. In these circumstances you will be informed and a prompt refund of gift wrapping charges will be made.

Candelabra will replace any goods that arrive at their destination faulty or damaged, providing a claim is made within 24 hours once parcel has been signed for - confirmation of claim can be done either by phone call or email.  With particular respect to items that arrived broken or damaged, damage must be advised within 24 hours . Under no circumstances will refunds will be given for notification after this period. PLEASE ENSURE ONCE YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER THAT YOU IMMEDIATELY CHECK FOR ANY DAMAGE AND INFORM US IMMEDIATELY.  Candelabra will not offer replacement for damaged/broken items after the 24hr period after receipt of goods has lapsed.  
To return any item for any reason the customer must arrange for return postage by Australia Post.  

See below for instructions on how to return goods in the appropriate manner.

For exchanges for change of mind purchases or incorrect choice, Candelabra will exchange or refund any undamaged item only if returned within 30 days of purchase, and as long as the purchased is returned in its original condition including its packaging.  Delivery and handling charges on returns are not refunded for incorrect choice, and are to be returned to the store at the customer's cost and risk.

In order to process your return of goods, please be sure to include the following information:

  • The order number
  • The reason for the return
  • Your day time phone number

A staff member will be required to contact you to arrange a refund if the store is unable to replace or exchange the goods returned.  We can process the refund by either re-imbursing your credit card, paypal account, or transfer money into your bank account.
